TRAYAGE — MEDIA FACT SHEET
Updated: 2026-09-10

A little order for your Downloads.

Trayage is a native Mac app that helps you review your Downloads folder, spot installers and likely duplicates, and decide what to keep. File analysis stays on your Mac, and moving files to Trash always requires confirmation.

ABOUT TRAYAGE
Trayage gives the files in Downloads a more considered review. It groups disk images, likely duplicates, older or larger files, and recent downloads, with a plain-language explanation of why each file stands out. Reveal a file in Finder, ignore a suggestion for the current review, or select files to move to Trash after confirmation. Trayage lives in the menu bar, with a full review window and an optional Dock presence. Built by Kyle Reddoch under the RelayByte brand, it is designed for macOS 14 and later.

ACCURACY NOTES
Current scans cover one selected folder's top-level files. Likely duplicates use filename and size, not verified matching contents. Ignore applies to the current review. File analysis stays local; payments, licenses and support use the services listed in the app's privacy policy. Cleanup requires confirmation and never empties the Trash. Folder monitoring, custom thresholds, content hashes, and persistent ignores remain planned; no release dates or version assignments are promised.
